It almost seems as if the Elgato chat link cable is not compatible with PS5 which I hope is not the case. Make sure I'm only using the mic of my headset via the PS5 settings and not that of the controller (when I go to the settings, there is just one option anyway: headset via controller)Īll of these things don't help. Not with a pause of about a second in between, but kind of like you're watching a slow motion video without the video being in slow motion of course, but kind of that sound effect. When watching gameplay I recorded via PS5, I also hear the audio a echoing. When I connect my PS4 controller the problem doesn't occur, but when I connect my PS5 controller, the problem is there. Maybe to some extent (very softly in the background sometimes), but not the way it is now - a very clear, double echo about half a second to a second after they speak. I have been using an Elgato chat link cable for a long time on PS4 and they never complained about the sound echoing. Ever since I have a PS5, whenever I go into a party with my friends, they all say that they are hearing themselves.
